We are pleased to announce that our representative will be speaking at the “Future Talk Session” of the 2024 Shizuoka Tea Rebranding Project Results Debriefing.
In this session, we will discuss the new brand strategy for Shizuoka tea with Mr. Ryo Iwamoto, CEO of TeaRoom Corporation, a leader in the industry, and discuss the potential and future transformation of Shizuoka tea in the global market.
This will be a valuable opportunity to exchange views on what should be done for the future of Shizuoka tea and how to build its position in the world through rebranding at this time of major change in the Shizuoka tea production region.

Future Talk Session: Rebranding Shizuoka Tea to the World – Confidence and Change

Major changes have begun in Shizuoka Prefecture’s tea production areas. At the 2024 Shizuoka Tea Rebranding Project Results Report Meeting, a new brand strategy was born from the awareness of “what to value” and “what to change” as part of the rebranding process. At this stage, we are in the process of creating a major direction. As a genuine Shizuoka tea company, we are now implementing what we need to do for the future, now and a hundred years from now. In this Future Talk session, two panelists who are driving the new business of tea will talk about what Shizuoka tea needs to change and what it needs to be confident about as it rebrands and builds its position in the world.
<Instructor Profile>
<Panelist> Mr. Yoshiken Osaka, Representative Director and CEO of EN. Graduated from Kobe University. Involved in the local economy of Fuji City. Ltd., he honed his management, sales, and human resource skills in Tokyo. Ltd., he built a business foundation in real estate and management consulting management, and later founded EN Co. He has been working on regional revitalization, sustainable value creation, and community development in Fuji. Currently, he is working hard to establish the Mt. Fuji Matcha brand.
<Panelist> Mr. Ryo Iwamoto, Representative Director and CEO of TeaRoom Corporation Started his own business at the age of 21. Founded TeaRoom at Ritsumeikan University and converted it into a joint-stock company. He is also an outside director of Masashichi Shoten. He was selected as one of the “Forbes Japan 30 Under 30 2022,” which selects 30 people under the age of 30 who will have an impact on the world. Inherited a Japanese tea factory in Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture. He has been developing and selling products based on the Japanese tea production method, and also producing tea products for overseas markets. Developed a specialized division of the tea business. Iwamoto Sencha, named after the Sencha family, has his own unique perspective on the “tea sea philosophy and the Japanese tea industry”.
<Navigator> Mr. Tatsuaki Tomiyama, Concept Director, Interplanning, Inc. He has a proven track record, including the brand strategy for the Imabari Towel. He is also a facilitator of corporate creativity, providing one-stop services from product and service development to marketing. His expertise in both hardware and software is also useful as a creative director for companies. Recently, he has been focusing on design management and design thinking.
